The SD-6000 by Toshiba is in the midline of DVD players offered. Many of the players are similar, but the SD-6000 has some key features, notably, HD JPEG and video up-conversion through HDMI 720p/1080i/1080p.

The benefit of having the HD JPEG is being able to view JPEG Megapixel images on a HDTV display. The Dolby Digital and DTS Compatible Output give listeners a three-dimensional audio experience rivalling the best movie theatres to quote Toshiba. What separates this player from those in the premier line is not having the Toshiba REGZA Link.
