The Cons:Not made by Sony - actually a rebranded Philips/Yamaha player. Included remote doesn't have an eject button. Doesn't support the full range of analog connections - lacks S-Video output.

The Sony DVP-SR200 is a progressive scan DVD/SACD/CD player built as a perfect complement to your TV. It supports MP3 audio, JPEG images, and CD/DVD & SVCD/VCD video. In addition, the DVP-SR200 includes Precision Cinema Progressive technology for sharper/vibrant images, a Precision Drive 3 System that allows for playback of warped/damaged DVDs without loss of picture quality, and 12-bit video DAC processing for viewing content on a traditional analog screen.
