Sony DVP-NS700

Released March, 2008
The Pros:Upscales DVDs to very near HDTV level. Picture is sharp and steady, no jitter or lost frames. Built of the unit is slim and light, easy to find a place for it.
The Cons:Complicated and confusing controls, need to read the manual to figure out how to do things like change the aspect ratio. Doesn't automatically switch between widescreen and 4:3 ratio unless you tell it to.
