The DV input on the front panel allows the user to edit and record from a digital camcorder directly onto a DVD with the use of a single cable (DV cable), and without losing image quality. This DVD recorder also delivers high-quality DivX movies, allowing DVDs and CDs that have DivX movies downloaded via computer may be enjoyed on a large-screen TV. Although this DVD player does not record HD, additional features include a selectable up-conversion to 1080p for more clear, distinct images, and full compatibility with Anynet+, a system which enables the user to control all electronic devices with a single remote.
