The Onkyo DV-SP504 is a DVD player with high-definition upconversion. The player can decode DVD-Audio and SACD, and also has DTS and Dolby Digital output. It is compatible with MP3, WMA, JPEG, JPEG-HD, VCD, CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW playback.

The player can upconvert DVDs to 720p and 1080i resolution, which it accomplishes through HDMI. It also features component, composite and S-video out. The player also features Cirrus Logic CS4398 digital-to-analog converters and is DivX playable.
