LG DN899

The LG DN899 is a DVD player that supports playback of DVD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, Audio CD, CD-R, and CD-RW media formats.  The unit has a more compact and stylish design than the DN898 but lacks features like the DTS Audio decoder and the optical audio output that come with the DN898.

  It features progressive scan video output as well as 1080p up-conversion via an HDMI output to provide high resolution graphics.  The DN899 includes a front-panel USB port which allows easy connection to a USB device for playback of MP3, WMA, and JPEG files.  The DVD player supports PAL to NTSC conversion and includes a Dolby Digital decoder for quality sound reproduction.  In addition to the HDMI port, it offers a variety of rear-panel connectivity including coaxial audio, component, S-Video, and composite outputs.  The DN899 has an MSRP of $100 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
