LG DN798

The LG DN798 is a DVD player that supports playback of DVD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, Audio CD, CD-R, and CD-RW media formats.  The unit is the predecessor of the DN898 and features progressive scan video output as well as 1080p up-conversion via an HDMI output to provide high resolution graphics.

  It includes a front-panel USB port which allows easy connection to a USB device for playback of MP3, WMA, and JPEG files.  The DN798 supports PAL to NTSC conversion and includes Dolby Digital and DTS audio decoders for quality sound reproduction.  In addition to the HDMI port, it offers a variety of rear-panel connectivity including coaxial and optical audio, component, S-Video, and composite outputs.  The DVD player has an MSRP of $99 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
